07 September: New Staff at the NAMMCO Secretariat

We are pleased to welcome our new staff to the NAMMCO Secretariat!

Maria Garagouni and Naima El bani Altuna joined last Monday our team as the new Deputy Secretaries, focusing on Science and Communications, respectively. Together with Ian Bolduc, who started in May as NAMMCO’s Administrative officer, they are the new faces of the NAMMCO Secretariat.

Albert Chacón, who joined NAMMCO as Scientific Secretary in May 2022, will take on 1st October a Senior Researcher position at the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research to lead a fisheries research project funded by the Research Council of Norway.

We are all very excited with the start of this new period!
