September 11, 2017: NAMMCO attends entanglement rescue training course
More than 300 000 whales and dolphins are believed to die from entanglement each year globally, causing both conservation and animal welfare concerns. NAMMCO attended the 1st day of the entanglement response training course organised by the Directorate of Fisheries in Norway. The course is led by Dr David Mattila.
