16 September: Meet Noor, NAMMCO’s New Intern in 2024-2025

We are pleased to welcome NAMMCO’s new team member, Noor Elias, who joined us on the 1st of September! Originally from the Netherlands, Noor brings a diverse academic background and a passion for marine life to our team. She completed her bachelor’s degree in microbiology at Leiden University of Applied Sciences before pursuing a master’s in marine biology at Bangor University in the UK. For her master’s dissertation, Noor focused on the fascinating behaviour of bottlenose dolphins in Cardigan Bay, Wales. 

Since finishing her master’s, Noor has also become a certified diving instructor, further deepening her connection with the marine environment. We are excited to have Noor on board and look forward to her contributions to our work!
