19 October: Meet Marina, NAMMCO’s new intern in 2023-2024!
We are are pleased to welcome NAMMCO’s new intern, Marina Metić, to our team!
Originally from Croatia, Marina has spent the last two years in Norway. Her educational journey includes a bachelor’s degree in Marine Sciences from Juraj Dobrila University of Pula (Croatia) and a master’s degree in Biology from the University of Bergen (Norway). During her time in Bergen, Marina studied the temporal and spatial variations in body condition of harbour porpoises along the Norwegian coastline.
Marina arrived to Tromsø at the beginning of October and she has already demonstrated her impressive baking skills, making her the finest baker at the Secretariat!
