NAMMCO Abundance Estimate Working Group (AEWG)

The Abundance Estimates Working Group met at the Greenland Representation in Copenhagen May 22-24, under the chairmanship of Daniel Pike (CA). The meeting was open only to members of the Scientific Committee and invited participants; Phil Hammond (St Andrews University, UK), Jack Lawson (DFO, CA) and Greg Donovan (IWC, representing the Chair of the IWC WG on Abundance Estimate).

The primary focus was to examine the analysis from the data collected during the 2015 North Atlantic Sightings Survey, which had not been presented yet, from large whales to dolphins. Read more about the NASS2015, and the previous NASS here.
