September 7, 2018: Harbour porpoise survey

Today, our intern Solveig participated in the UiT The Arctic University of Tromsø‘s harbour porpoise survey. The day started out in the fog, but ended in perfect conditions, clear skies and more than 70 porpoises spotted. Equipment from different decades were also in use: an angle board that was left over from the T-NASS in 2007, as well as a shiny new drone.
