Scientific Committee By-Catch Working Group

The By-Catch Working Group (BYCWG) is chaired by Kimberly Murray (Protected Species Branch, NEFSC, NOAA, USA). The By-Catch Working Group should have had a face-to-face meeting on 24-25 April 2020. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the face-to-face meeting was postponed to 2021 and a video meeting was planned for 28 May. The focus of the 4-hour video meeting was to review the updated by-catch estimates for porpoises and seals in Norway and Iceland.
